Made Great is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Made Great may change this policy from time to time in accordance with regulations. You should check from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy was updated on 4th March 2024.

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • your name
  • your contact information, including phone number, email address and home address
  • other information you require us to use when producing your artwork

What is the source of this information?

We collect the information in the following ways:

  • from orders placed on our website
  • from you submitting a contact form from our website
  • in person or over the telephone
  • by email

We may record the information on a paper job sheet.

What do we do with the information we gather?

We use this information to fulfill our contract with you, ie to complete the task, specifically to:

  • Process your order
  • Create any artwork requested
  • Contact you when the job is complete


We may use it in the future to contact you about further work you have asked us to carry out.

We may also store your artwork or details digitally so that you may request reprints or amendments in the future. This is stored securely on our own servers and our cloud backup service. Artwork may be stored for a period of 10 years and then securely deleted if deemed no longer needed.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. Paper job sheets are securely destroyed once the job is complete. Should we need to store paper records in order to carry out further work for you or for reference, these are held securely on our premises and destroyed as soon as they are no longer required.

In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we store on our servers.

Controlling your personal information

You have the right not to provide us with your personal information, but without important pieces of information we will be unable perform the task.

You can request that your files be deleted at any time by contacting us by email at hello@madegreat.co.uk or in writing to Made Great, Kurrs Ltd, 6 Fenland Walk, March, PE15 8TW.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. If you would like to obtain a copy of the data we hold about you this can be obtained free of charge.

If your details change, you do not need to update us, but if you wish to do so please contact us. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

What are your rights under data protection laws?

Here is a list of the rights that all individuals have under data protection laws. They don’t apply in all circumstances. If you wish to use any of them, we’ll explain at that time if they are engaged or not. The right of data portability is only relevant from May 2018.
